The website terms below are separate from the terms of any quote or contract for painting work. Where you engage us to carry out work, the terms set out in your written quote and any accompanying contract govern that work, and prevail over these website terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

Quotes and enquiries

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a contract between us, and does not oblige us to carry out work or to hold a price. Prices are only binding once we have inspected the property and issued a written quote, and any quote is subject to the conditions and validity period stated on it.

Any indicative pricing, timeframes or service descriptions on this website are general information only. The scope, price and timing of your job will be set out in your written quote.

Our five year workmanship guarantee

Every job we complete carries a five year guarantee on our workmanship, included in the price at no extra cost. If our work fails in that time, whether that is paint peeling, blistering or lifting because of how we prepared the surface or applied the coating, we come back and put it right ourselves.

The guarantee covers our workmanship rather than everything that happens to the paint afterwards. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental or physical damage such as scratches, chips and knocks, fading from sun exposure, or problems caused by the building itself such as damp, leaks or structural movement. It also does not cover work altered or repainted by someone else. If you think something is not right, call us and we will come and look at it. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Limitation of liability

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or loss of data.

Privacy

Information you submit through this website is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory. You submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia.
